The Situation
The client, a cybersecurity SaaS platform selling real-time zero trust microsegmentation to enterprise security teams, had earned technical respect in a category where purchases run on trust. What they did not have was market presence to match. As a relatively young company selling to security leaders who default to established vendors, they were functionally invisible to the buyers they needed to reach.
The baseline was zero. No digital marketing program meant no paid search, no paid social, no content engine, and no organic presence on the commercial queries their buyers search. Enterprise security teams evaluating microsegmentation platforms had no reliable way to discover the client, and the sales team needed opportunities immediately, not after a slow brand-building runway.
Our mandate was to stand up paid search and paid social fast enough to generate leads inside the first month, then build the awareness, content, and organic layers behind them so pipeline held its quality as it scaled.

What We Did
Stood up paid search and paid social in the first month.
We took over the client's Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads accounts immediately, with no discovery phase delaying launch. Paid search captured existing category demand while paid social built and nurtured the surrounding audience. The multi-touch structure produced higher conversion rates at a lower cost per lead, and lead generation results landed inside the first month.
Built the brand awareness layer that made paid lead gen convert.
We ran brand awareness campaigns across media outlets and digital channels to raise visibility with the client's target buyers, establishing the familiarity enterprise security teams need before they engage a vendor. The paid programs then drew on this warmer audience, which lifted lead quality and reduced cost per lead across both channels.
Expanded into search engine optimization (SEO), content, and website optimization from month 9.
The consistent quality of the paid leads justified expanding the engagement. Within 9 months we prioritized website management and SEO, working alongside the client's in-house content team to identify organic opportunities across the site and optimize pages around them. Over the full 12-month window, organic traffic sessions grew 171%, with 10x more keywords ranking in the top 10 search results.
Kept every channel inside a continuous test-and-adjust loop.
We monitored and tested every implemented program continuously, making real-time adjustments as results came in. Nothing was set and forgotten: campaigns, pages, and content were iterated against the most recent performance data, keeping the full system aligned with the client's evolving business goals as the company grew.
What The Data Tells Us
The most instructive comparison in this dataset is leads against opportunities. Leads grew 60% within 12 months while new opportunities grew 16x. When opportunity growth multiplies that far past lead growth, volume is not the story: quality is. The leads reaching the sales team after the brand awareness and multi-touch paid programs were warmer and better qualified, so a modest increase in raw lead count converted into a dramatic increase in active pipeline.
The organic metrics tell the second half of the story. A 171% increase in organic traffic sessions, paired with 10x growth in keywords ranking in the top 10 search results, means the client began appearing in the commercial search results where enterprise security teams actually evaluate vendors. Paid search and paid social delivered the fast start; the SEO and content expansion that followed turned a fast paid launch into a full-funnel engine, with durable organic demand layered on top of paid pipeline. Within 12 months, the client went from no digital marketing program to qualified opportunities growing 16x.
